The Back Story: According
to Lebanon Valley’s main
site, this is Buzzie’s one and only victory at LV, back on July 22nd,
1970. I figured it was most certainly
a Sunday open comp. show with his injected big block and all, but I also
looked up what day of the week that was, and records say it was a
Wednesday. Since the Syracuse qualifiers didn’t exist yet, I
have no clue if they ran midweek shows back then, as I can vouch for nothing
since I was all of 1 year old at this time.
